Christmas: A Rose in Winter

Benjamin Britten's A Boy Was Born has long been the touchstone for a cappella choirs, one of the most challenging and rewarding pieces of the 20th century. For the first time, the Master Singers performs this complex and wonderful work, exploring the birth of Jesus. Anyone familiar with Britten's A Ceremony of Carols is certain to love this work. The ensemble also performs a second half of music mostly by Stephen Paulus, with a guest harp soloist.
